East Crimea is a small country, ideal for travelers. There are in it rocks heated under the sun and cool as if northern plains, plateaus, are the refined form falls and deep precipices with inaccessible rare plants, is both absolutely wild coasts, and multikilometer sandy beaches.
East Crimea is literary Koktebel where all pictures and events are built round the House of the Poet, it is Feodosiya with its artists-Cimmerians and Old Crimea with Green's first and last small house … Is passes Demerdzhi and Karabi, rocks of a New World, the underwater world in bays of Karadaga or fantastic flights on a hang-glider.
Not deprived imaginations of the teacher of geography compare a mountain chain of Southeast Crimea to a back of the whale who has come up from the sea or that huge fish, which Sindbad has accepted for island. From long lying on a surface her back has acquired trees, on it there were lakes, falls have rustled and even people began to lodge.
Feodosiya – «God given». This seaport – unique from the Crimean cities kept initial äðåâíå a name. Along coast of the Feodosijsky gulf on many kilometers wide sandy beaches last, and the coast bend is repeated by railway rails so from a car window it is possible to look directly at a beach and during a storm to catch the person sea splashes.
Through a city the small small river Bajbuga proceeds. There, to the museum of antiquities destroyed in last war, to the rests of serf towers and walls, to mosques and orthodox temples go and those to whom the city is rather interesting «by Gods given» go.
Known names are connected with this city many. I.K.Ayvazovsky – the known marine painter. Presence of the great marine painter at a city inevitably involved talents and developed them, concentrating art atmosphere. The school of "artists-Cimmerians" was created; leaders in it were Ayvazovsky, Voloshin and K.F.Bogaevsky.
With 1924 for 1929 in this city of veins Alexander Green also created. The spirit of the writer and its known "Crimson sails" is present at the museum with the same name near to art gallery K.I. Ayvazovsky.
In the house in the street Parkway the museum of sisters Marina and Anastasii Tsvetaevyh has settled down. In the autumn of 1913, M.I.Tsvetaeva with the husband, the daughter and the sister have arrived to Feodosiya and have lived here year.
Koktebel – «edge of blue tops». Without exaggeration it is possible to tell, what exactly here a cradle of domestic gliding and a naturism. Though the climate local all year long cures every possible inflammations, rheumatism, a hypertension, all the same here are treated not so much and have a rest even not so much, how many create, communicate, spiritually develop.
Unforgettable impressions give sea walks on vicinities, and especially to Karadagu. Sharp peaks of the volcano which has blown up in an extreme antiquity are completely not similar to soft outlines of Crimean Jajly. At movement of a boat of a rock that part, opening chaos mysterious bays and the passes conducting to unapproachable "bastions" are again closed. The most known, from êàðàäàãñêèõ rocks – the Devil's gate (Shaitan-kapu), more known as Gold gate. They rise in 85 meters from coast directly from the cleanest sea water.
Names of Unge are connected with Koktebel. To the ship's boy – the founder of Russian school of treatment of eye illnesses, Chekhov, Trenev, Maxim Gorky, Bulgakov, Prishvin, Marina Tsvetaeva, F.I.Shalyapin and still many-many art workers.
But Maksimilian Voloshin was the most known and long inhabitant of Koktebel. It has put spirit of creativity and bohemia in this settlement. Presently, here artists, writers, poets, musicians at specially organized festivals annually gather.
At tourists the Factory of vintage wines "Koktebel" which has more ancient traditions of winemaking uses special attention, and conditions allow to be engaged both dry, and sweet wines.
The natural boundary Kapsel is near to the Pike perch. The sea here very shallow and quiet before that in the heart of a bay has found the eternal rest river steam-ship "Swallow". After film shootings «the Cruel romance» the steam-ship from Volga have overtaken here to arrange in it floating hotel. For rather small money it is possible to be photographed in salon at a grand piano where once Nikita Mikhalkov with gipsies pathetically sang a song about a shaggy bumblebee and the Gipsy daughter.
The bay of Kapsel is closed in the east by powerful rocky cape Meganom acting in the sea – here alternate with rocky õàîñàìè set of small cozy bays, remarkable conditions for diving, fishing and a naturism.
Sudak. This small town is completely not similar to others. Overland roads conduct in it from three parts of the world and come to an end with long flat descent in a fertile valley. A poplar, orchards, lonely old mulberries, the vineyards protected from a wind by avenues of bitter and sweet almonds … Since antique times the Pike perch was the center of winemaking and was famous for one of the largest centers of world trade of the Middle Ages.
The two-kilometer beach in the Pike perch is combined in a surf strip by gray gravel, and slate sand (black quartz) dark gray color which much faster and is more strongly calcinated on the sun, than the yellow shelly.
From sights – the Genoa fortress – very big, unusually romantic and in a good condition.
Novyi Svet (New World). It isn't simple the name of settlement of city type. It is really small country with special landscapes, with the microclimate, on what not similar vegetation and remarkable history. Beaches are scattered on the well-known romantic bays: Blue, Dark blue and Green. The blue bay is famous many long years for a reserved Imperial beach.
Here gray soft sand and never happens storm, and water is very pure.
Sights is a factory of sparkling wines "New World" it is based in 1878 by the prince of h.p. Golitsyn – the founder of the Russian industrial sparkling winemaking. A landscape wildlife preserve "New World" are unique groves of a relic pine Sudaksky and natural park of a treelike juniper. Through all wildlife preserve from settlement and to cape Kapchik Golitsyn's track conducts.
On cape Kapchik there is a well-known Through grotto. Films "Pirates of the XX-th century", "Single swimming", "Anna Karenina" and many other things were in these parts shot.
The settlement Morskoe is on border of Sudaksky area and Big Alushty, in a valley of mountain small rivers Shelen, the Raven and Kutlak, each of which forms at a confluence of the sea excellent beaches of sandy deposits and small gravel, sometimes with a pebble impurity. These places are rendered habitable by people from an antiquity, and in the Middle Ages gave to the Genoa colonies excellent fruit and the wines which were successfully on sale across all Europe.
Here, under the hot Crimean sun, in 1981 Victor Tsoy with companions have based group "Kino".
The Rybachie (Fishing) is in East part of the Alushtinsky resort (39 km from Alushta), at a foot of majestic ridges of Crimean mountains, on the bank of Black sea. Along all settlement the excellent natural beach from sand and gravel in width to 50 meters lasts. Air which has been given to drink by delicate aroma of sea breezes and mountain hair dryers, possesses salutary influence on the person, raises a vitality.
The settlement small, but in it is some the big parks with palm avenues, cypresses and rosaries where it is possible to have a rest perfectly in hot day or to walk in the evening.
The Malorechensky is located in 25 km to the northeast from Alushty. The small resort settlement was stretched along the sea. This place, in a valley of the mountain river Kuchuk, people have started to render habitable still in the ancient time. One of the first Greeks here have come. They also named settlement Mikropotamus, i.e. Small small river.
Here sunny days more than in Yalta. The dense necklace of mountain tops doesn't pass in Malorechensky dry winds of steppe Crimea. In gardens of this resort settlement many exotic fruit – a kiwi, a persimmon, a pomegranate, a fig, not to mention grapes and peaches grows ripe.
Recently, in Malorechensky have erected a temple-beacon, which the beauty of thousand tourists from all corners of peninsula. The unique church has directed up on abrupt breakage at the edge of the sea.
The author of this structure - the Ukrainian architect A.Gajdamaka. Sea subjects it is underlined in each detail and registration of a temple, interiors of adjoining territory. Anchors and anchor chains, windows in the form of windows, bowls for candlle, fixed on bronze chains. The temple platform is stylized under a deck and the captain's bridge. This temple will erect in honor of prelate Nikolay – the patron of seamen and travelers. In the near future, in a socle premise, opening of a museum of sea accidents of the XX-th century is planned.
